An iconic route that follows the shortened version of the Granfondo Strade Bianche: 58.5 km and 1,143 m of elevation gain immersed in a paradise of landscapes, history, and flavor.
After the first few kilometers on the famous white roads of Siena, you will reach the Cipresso Solitario (Lonely Cypress) beyond Ville di Corsano (km 20), one of the most evocative panoramic points of the route, with an open view of Siena and the hills that recall the timeless images of films set in the Val d’Orcia. A little further on, the Pieve di San Giovanni Battista in Corsano (km 23), consecrated in 1189, welcomes cyclists with the elegance of Tuscan Romanesque architecture and an atmosphere of silence and authentic beauty. Next, the Leccio del Galletto, a solitary tree in the middle of the fields, offers a 360-degree view that invites you to stop and drink it all in. The route is completed by the presence of farms and refreshment points, where cycling meets the flavors of the territory, according to the Ciclogustando philosophy: ride slowly, observe, taste, live.
