How It all started
CicloGustando was created with the support of the Municipality of Siena through the 2025 national “Bici in Comune” grant. The project aims to help people discover and appreciate the territory of Siena through authentic, accessible and sustainable experiences.

Special events for the Strade Bianche: food, music and pure fun
In the days leading up to the race, several iconic spots along the route come alive with social events open to everyone—cyclists and fans, locals and visitors alike. Music, tastings of local products and informal gatherings celebrate the eve of the Strade Bianche in a festive atmosphere.
Participation is open and free, with no registration required. The only costs involved are for any food, drinks, or services purchased directly from the operators. The routes can be enjoyed in your own way and at your own pace.
Why CicloGustando was born: Slow Experiences Around Siena
Our project arose alongside the Strade Bianche and Granfondo events (which has granted its patronage), and fully embraces the idea of slow tourism. Through collaboration between local authorities, tourism operators and associations, CicloGustando gives everyone the chance to discover, at their own pace, the food & wine, landscapes and cultural treasures of the Siena area.
The Platform
Through our interactive map, you can plan your own cycling journey, choosing from guides, tour operators, bike rentals, farm stays, wineries, and many other useful services.
Have fun—ride, explore, and savour the territory!
